Why I don’t provide touch-up kits at weddings

Recently I’ve noticed a lot of make-up artists sharing the preparation of fancy looking bags with mini pots of powder, lipstick, disposable lippie applicators, packets of tissues etc.

There’s no denying it looks great and cute and professional. I, however don’t offer this extra add-on. Primarily because these little plastic pots and applicators will end up in the bin, whether they have been used or not. We are all trying to reduce waste aren’t we?! Avoiding single use plastic items is an easy way to do this.

Secondly, I always top up my clients’ make-ups at the end of the booking so everything looks as fresh and polished as possible. Prior to the wedding I suggest ladies may want to bring powder and lippie to top-up after the meal, If you read my reviews you’ll see many clients comment that the make-up lasted all day anyway!
