My experience in weddings extends back to 1999 when I started out in photography and developed a passion for creating beautiful images of people, I am obsessed with fashion imagery too, and so this combined with my creativity (www.kzart.com) led me to train in make up at Revelations School of Make-up in Manchester in 2004.  Since then, I have worked with hundreds of clients in some truly incredible venues.  I can honestly say I love my work, I often have ‘pinch me’ moments where I am so grateful to get so much joy working with amazing people, where no two days are the same.

As well as my private clients I have an increasing number of commercial clients where I create make-up looks for fashion shoots, look books, launch events and online content.  I was proud to be part of the 4 strong team of creatives who made up Braid & Bloom, pulling ideas together to create content for Bridal brands and Wedding Blogs.  My experience with photography and styling also comes in handy behind the scenes on all sorts of projects now!

Make-up artistry is an ever-evolving industry, with trends, products and techniques constantly changing.  It’s always been important for me to keep my approach fresh, so I regularly attend courses and workshops with industry experts (such as MAC masterclasses, Ambreen, Melly Sophia, Lou Seymour, Eco Glitter Ltd). My kit is bursting with tried and tested products from a huge range of brands including Nars, Mac, Tom Ford, Chanel, Kiko, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown. Pat Mcgrath, Fenty, Laura Mercier, The Ordinary, Illamasqua…. Everything I use enables me to create looks that last with glowing skin that still looks like skin, and to combine colours that work with your colouring to give you that ‘WOW’, whatever the occasion.
